Bankruptcy is only one of several options available to a troubled business looking for the best method for reorganizing or liquidating its business or financial affairs or for a guarantor looking to protect assets from a loan deficiency; because each situation is unique, often, bankruptcy may not be the best solution. The firm helps each client understand all of the non-bankruptcy options available and the burdens and benefits of each, whether an out-of-court debt restructuring, some other workout solution, or civil litigation (including guaranty defense). The firm has represented parties in connection with troubled businesses spanning a wide array of industries, including retailers, manufactures, real estate developers and construction companies, software providers, fitness centers, golf courses, and various sorts of service providers. The firm’s advice is always tailored to the specific facts and circumstances presented in each case.
