On February 22, 2024, Anna Gorman, together with Matt Smith of The Finley Group and Charlie Livermon of Womble Bond Dickinson, gave a presentation on the North Carolina Commercial Receivership Act, N.C. Gen. Stat. § 1-507.20 et seq during the first ever event in Charlotte held by the Commercial Receivers Association.
Anna and the other attorneys at Grier Wright Martinez, PA continue to represent parties to commercial receiverships at increasing frequency as practitioners become more familiar with the new statutes and the efficient ways the Act can be used to deal with business enterprises facing financial or other distress.
